I was going to post about the Cole Haan shoes I found and wore today....but my 8 year old music student just cancelled her lesson because a friend of hers, a child in our neighborhood, was backed over and killed, right here in the quiet little subdivision, while waiting for the school bus this morning.
Shoes are just so unimportant.
Hearts are breaking.
Why do children have to wait in the dark for the school bus?

Oh how terrible! My heart is crying for this child's family, what a senseless loss. My thoughts go out to them.
